"A Story Book Moment"
Fundraiser for the Crockett County Public Library
The Ozona Chamber of Commerce will host its 47th Annual Banquet, Thursday, March 29th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Civic Center. Guests will begin to arrive at 5:45 p.m. for a short reception before the buffet line opens and dinner is served at 6:15 p.m.. There will be a brief Chamber program announcing the Business of the Year, library fund raising results, followed by a special presentation by the Way Off Broadway Players. They will perform a portion of their production Ruthie's Cafe, a musical comedy that takes place in a small town diner with a variety of colorful characters and customers. The play emphasizes how everyone in a small town is family and helps each other out through crisis.
The Ozona Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Crockett County Public Library to conduct a fund raiser to supplement the County budget and the Friends of the Library fundraising efforts to maintain the current level of services provided by our library, due to the loss of state and federal funding.
OUR GOAL: To raise $5,000 between now and March 29th, with sponsorships, banquet ticket sales and donations.
